The ebook is currently used as a Common Core science and reading resource and is part of the curriculum in many schools throughout the country.
With the recent wave of states enacting Common Core Standards within schools, Dr. Barth and his publishing partner firm, Funderstanding, utilized Amazons KDP Select Program to increase the books visibility and availability.
During the two days of promotion, Maurice on the Moon remained at #1 in the Astronomy & Space category and at #2 in the Science, Nature & How It Works category. The books rank in the Best Seller Top Free List improved by more than 11,000.

This was our fourth promotional event for Dr. Barths books. Each new time, we improved upon the preparatory stages leading up to the event as well as some of the strategies we employ during the promotion. We are excited to see that our strategies have helped make the promotion a success but more importantly, got such a powerful teaching resource that is aligned with Common Core Standards into the hands of more people.
