The Crohns & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) and Imedex would like to announce the September 3 abstract submission deadline for 2013 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohns & Colitis Foundations Clinical & Research Conference.
Held beach-side in Hollywood, Florida on December 12-14, 2013, one of the goals of the conference is to present the best new scientific research in IBD and advance knowledge on the state of the science. Health care professionals with an interest in the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with inflammatory bowel diseases are invited to share their research initiatives with the healthcare community by submitting an abstract.
According to conference co-chair Dr. Stephen B. Hanauer, “Presenting an abstract or poster at this conference is a great opportunity and provides excellent exposure and visibility. Accepted abstracts will be published in the journal Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and scheduled for oral or poster presentation.”
Abstracts are subject to acceptance by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts should be submitted at http://www.advancesinibd.com by September 3, 2013. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the conference on December 12-14, 2013 in Hollywood, Florida.
Additionally, a limited number of travel grants will be offered to GI fellows-in-training, nurse practitioners and nurses to attend this conference. These scholarship awards are available to assist with conference-related travel expenses by providing 1) free conference registration and 2) a scholarship of $ 500.
